Good. 16pp. Inscribed on the inside cover by Allen in September1937 (from which we have dated the book). Extremely scarce addition to the Shakespeare identity controversy positing that the events around each of the three contenders’ deaths reveal that the bard’s work was that of Edward de Vere with a little help from his friend Francis Bacon. Ernest was the twin brother of Percy a fellow Oxfordian theorist & prolific author who was “contacted” by Ernest after his death in 1939 with corroboration of their beliefs (having consulted Shakespeare, de Vere & Bacon) so that’s that then! Covers a little toned, handled & nicked with a small splash at the tail of spine.
