Good. xi, 156pp. All edges gilt. Although not actually signed a handwritten card from the author is tipped onto front pastedown reading “for Mary **** with the Author’s best wishes, July 1887”. Boards decorated in blind & gilt are a little rubbed & worn at extremities. Both hinges are repaired with archival japanese tissue. Uncommon & eccentric provincial publication.
