Christopher Logue’s copy signed & dated by him ‘Logue 27.5.70’ which is written directly beneath Gilbert & George’s statement on the opening page. A curious position for it; accidental? Or, given this & the synchronous date, might he have had a hand in its wording or some other aspect of the project? At any rate, an interesting association copy. Covers lightly soiled & handled with a short nick at head of spine. Now in an archival transparent acetate dust jacket.
