Very Good. no date. 40pp.1927 initialed Xmas inscription on ffep which, given that these poems are written about & for his family, may easily be in Matheson’s hand. The poems, themselves, were also written annually at Christmas / New Year between 1891 & 1905 at Matheson’s eldest brother’s house Bramcote, Hendon, itself named for the Nottingham village where their grandfather lived. Some foxing to the initial & final leaves as well as at the text-block’s untrimmed edges. Slight rubbing at extremities of darkened spine. 0
