As well as making ‘additions and emendations’ to the text in this second edition of the poem the author provides an introduction as well as a 187 page appendix giving a history of the city; ‘ making the manufactories a prominent feature of the work’. Aside from very minimal rubbing and soiling this is a bright, sound copy.
