Jonas, Stephen: Wieners, John (introduction). Transmutations. London: The Ferry Press, 1966. First Edition. Black Cloth. Good. One of whom was this copy’s owner the British Poetry Revival poet, Peter Armstrong. Boards just fractionally bowed with a small strip of spotting at head of both boards & spine with a few isolated specks elsewhere. Thin water-stain (2cm at its widest) along head of the lightly soiled, nicked & torn dust jacket’s rear panel. Also, a small patch of colour transference from the cloth onto the inside of the dust jacket midway down the spine (invisible from the outside).
