Description
Reid, Christopher. The Song of Lunch. London: CB editions, 2009. First Edition. Card Wrappers. Near Fine. (iv), 65pp. This first edition precedes the Faber tv tie-in publication of 2010 as well as their standard trade edition in 2018. Inscribed on the title page in his customary green pencil by Reid using his full signature for a one-time colleague (one of Faber’s copy editors, Gillian Bate). Also laid in is a card to her from the book’s publisher, Charles Boyle (the CB of CB editions, who, confusingly, had also for many years worked at Faber, which mentions he’d seen Reid the previous day. Minutely foxed at fore edge of text-block.
