Very Good. 52pp. Interesting association copy from the library of Anthony Thwaite with his penciled name at head of ffep as well as the signatures of both Scovell & Peggy Ashcroft. Most likely signed at a reading or possibly a BBC broadcast as Thwaite was working for them by 1957. End papers & fore edge foxed & toning at head of spine where a small piece is missing from the dust jacket. The latter has 3 short closed tears & foxing also on the inside as well as the white rear panel of dust jacket which has some penciled notes of Thwaite’s regarding arrangements for Ashcroft & the South African actress, Olive Gregg (who has not signed the book & may not have come).
