Description
pp. liv, 227; (iv), 290; xvi, 294. Edges untrimmed. The third volume is a supplied one; bound in quarter leather & blue cloth. The editor apologizes for the delay in producing a complete (5 volume) edition & that these first 3 were being published early as evidence of their careful preparation. Their “completeness” could, perhaps, be said to lie in the fact they contain the entire text of Drayton’s topographical epic, Polyolbion, in addition to his first work, The Harmony of the Church. Light wear to head & tail of the third volume’s spine.
