The Turkish cover drawing of a human figure, also used (printed in red) as a frontispiece & section plates within, is composed from the characters for Allah, Muhammad, his cousin, Ali, & his children. Inscribed by Longville in 1971 for fellow British Poetry Revival poet, Peter Armstrong & his wife. Tape residue at tail of both covers’ spine edge; owing to their daughter’s cataloguing of their poetry collection. Text-block edges lightly foxed.
