Good. viii, 66pp. Farjeon’s inscription reads: “Robin, with Tomfool’s love. Christmas 1921.” Inscribed for Robin Guthrie the son of James, the artist, printer & close friend of Edward Thomas who ran the Pear Tree Press which published Thomas’ first poems. Also an artist, Robin illustrated Farjeon’s All the Way to Alfriston the title vignette of which is a rear view of a comically garbed Farjeon herself. Slightly worn & soiled covers stained at tail fore corners of both boards with a pale liquid just effecting the tail edge (not the text) of a few leaves at both ends of text-block. An exceptional association copy.
