Description
Adams Hadyn A. (editor); Tonks Rosemary. Makaris: Volume 7, Number 5 February 15th 1969. Durham: Durham University Literary Society, 1969. First Edition. Stapled Wrappers. Very Good. 8pp. Tonks contributes A Bedouin of the London Morning & Epoch of the Hotel Corridor. Also a half page Tonks biography presumably by Adams in which she is said to be “working on sonomontage”. She was to read to electronic music at the University on February 18th (surely one of her last appearances). Slightly foxed. Extremely scarce printed record of one of 20th century poetry’s most fascinating fugitives.
