Signatures of Smith (as Zadie A.) & Flint at head of title page. The outer covers have a facsimile of Smith’s first story written on her first typewriter when she was 12 & the inner ones have more typed exuberance with the same date; that on the rear inside cover is written with her brother, the rapper & actor, Doc Brown (as Ben H. Smith). While the introduction has all three contributors’ names printed beneath; it is written in Smith’s person. Smith’s story (Stuart) was commissioned by the New Yorker. Flint contributes the story, Oh to Play Golf on Mars & (with Smith & alcohol) 2 fridge magnet poems. Laird contributes 3 poems: The Proceedings, The Masseur & Home. Staples a little rusty & some toning at edges & spine. Very scarce.
