In slightly rubbed mottled calf with double ruled filleted borders, spine with raised bands with double ruled lines above & below with red morocco label ruled & lettered; all in gilt. 18th or early 19th century bookplate over another with the same name on front paste down. Front hinge cracked with cords still strong & ffep removed. Rear end papers lightly nibbled at the edges by an insect. Text extremely clean & fresh.
