Kendon’s Christmas poem for 1948 printed in red. Single poem (In Suffolk: A Day to Remember) with Kendon’s full signature, Harston, 1944. Finally, a very funny 3pp. a.l.s, written in his capacity as Assistant Secretary to the Cambridge University Press, which is an exquisitely balanced display of controlled anger in response to Anthony Bertram’s request for two C.U.P volumes listed as available but evidently not. Bertram, a novelist & art historian was married to the sister of Hugh Grant’s maternal grandmother.
