Near Fine. xiv) 238pp. Inscribed by Brownjohn for Anthony Thwaite at a lunch at Rules organized by Brownjohn for the book’s launch. Laid in is Gavin Ewart’s Lexicography from Maledicta V (which he evidently read) at the tail of which Thwaite has noted the other poets present. Also laid in is the programme of 1987 Burnham a Market Concert given by the Delme String Quartet which included the first performance of The Owl in the Painted Room with music by Mike Steer & words by Brownjohn printing 3 poems. Lastly there is a cropped original photo of Brownjohn. A few spots of foxing at fore edge & end papers. Dust jacket a little rubbed at edges & sunned at spine.
