Description
Paley, Morton D. & later Eaves, Morris and Paley, Morton D. (editors). Blake Newsletter / Blake: An Illustrated Quarterly 1-16 (including supplements), 19-25, 32-51 (43 numbers). Berkeley: The editor (nos.1-13) & thereafter under the sponsorship of the Department of English of the University of New Mexico, 1967. First Edition. Stapled Wrappers. Very Good. -1980. All original issues (until his death in 1974) from the library of Blake collector & scholar, Kerrison Preston with the occasional note or date in his hand as well light signs of wear & handling. The editorial for vol 1 no 4 (which concludes the first whole number) states that their circulation had risen for the previous newsletter (in celebration of S. Foster Damon’s birthday) to 120 copies which was as much as they could manage without institutional backing. Hence, a scarce run; even if a broken one. Additional postage will be required.
