Near Fine. (28pp.) Edges untrimmed. 220 copies; this one unnumbered so out of series in extremely scarce slightly undersized cellophane dust jacket. Publisher’s family association copy with both dust jacket inner flap & book bearing the ownership signature of Ann Guthrie Jewkes the latter adding that it was the gift of F. G. Guthrie in July 1946. Laid in is a post card initialled F.G.G (Francis G. Guthrie) stating the book’s title, its date of publication & that it belongs to Frances Guthrie to which is added in the same hand “Ann’s”. Some offsetting at end papers & extremely lightly at illustrations. Very small brown mark on front panel of dust jacket’s front panel (book entirely unaffected) as well as a very short tear, crease & small fragment missing from its tail edge.
